I seemed to know all of this about him already — and still, seeing him from the outside and hearing things spoken out loud reminded me how deeply I love him. I know I will be returning to these videos again and again. An incredible gift — first of all to myself.

Я уверена, что наши интервью будут приобретать все большую ценность с годами. Я бы многое отдала, чтобы посмотреть такое интервью с моими родителями, когда им было по 40. А у девчонок такая возможность будет! On the eve of our 15th wedding anniversary we recorded a couple interview. We shared our interviews with each other on our wedding day: so much love, goosebumps, tears of joy and gratitude. I am sure these interviews will only grow in value over the years. I would give a lot to watch something like this with my parents when they were 40. And our girls will have this chance.

Можно сделать на русском или английском языке. It is an online conversation, usually around two hours. We start with more general questions, and then the dialogue naturally moves to what really matters to you right now. We discuss the theme and what is alive in your life in advance. You do not need to prepare or think of anything in advance — I will hold the structure for you.
You receive an audio and video recording of our conversation. Studio-quality sound.
We can do the interview in Russian or in English.
Мне нравится думать об этом через метафору фотосессии или дневника. Мы делаем фотосессии чтобы запомнить себя в моменте времени, как мы выглядели. А можно сделать глубокий разговор, чтобы запомнить как мы чувствовали и что думали. И как выглядели тоже, прямо в движении, потому что видео остается тоже :)

I like to think of it through the metaphor of a photoshoot or a diary. We do photoshoots to remember ourselves in a certain moment in time — how we looked. And we can have a deep conversation to remember how we felt and what we were thinking. And how we looked as well, in motion, because video stays too :)

Я правда знаю, что люди говорят разные вещи и ходят на разную глубину, когда они говорят публично и не публично. I am a professional interviewer — this is literally my job. I am a qualitative researcher and have been conducting in-depth interviews with people for more than 3 years. I have had the privilege of leading 100+ interviews and participating in another hundred.
I am also the host of the podcast “В зоне гения” (“In the Zone of Genius”), where I interview people about the work of their lives. By watching my conversations with guests you can get a sense of whether you would enjoy talking to me.
I also go on podcasts as a guest myself: as a book author and as a woman with many different interests.
I truly know that people say different things and go to different depths when they speak publicly and when they speak in a private, held space.
В случае интервью на публику бывает так, что история и личность интервьюера даже более важна, чем гостя. Комментарии и точки зрения хоста подкаста ценны и интересны для слушателя.
Но в случае глубинного непубличного интервью, интервьюер должен раствориться. Моя роль там — чтобы главному герою было комфортно, безопасно, чтобы он мог раскрыться, видя свое отражение в моих любящих и принимающих глазах. Я должна сделать все, что могу, чтобы человек мог рассказать свою историю, не навешав ему своих идей, фильтров, восприятий и историй по дороге.
Это его история. Ее история. Их история. Они главные герои своего романа.
Здорово, когда человек даже не помнит что я говорила и спрашивала. Будто он сам с собой говорил 2 часа, а его только по-настоящему слушали и слышали ❤️ It is about how much I weave in my own stories and point of view, how much I take the focus on myself as an interviewer.
With a public conversation, like a podcast, it often happens that the host’s story and personality are as important — or even more important — than the guest’s. The host’s comments and opinions are valuable and interesting for the listener.
But in the case of a deep, private interview the interviewer has to dissolve. My role there is to create comfort and safety for the main character, so that they can open up while seeing their reflection in my loving, accepting eyes. I need to do everything I can so that a person can tell their story without me layering my own ideas, filters, perceptions, and stories on top of it.
It is his story. Her story. Their story. They are the main characters of their own novel.
It is perfect when afterwards a person barely remembers what I asked or said. As if they had been talking to themselves for two hours — while being truly listened to and heard ❤️
